Kutch (2) (447x640)DONALDSON, IN – Ancilla College is pleased to announce the addition of a Tennis program for the upcoming 2016-2017 academic school year. Ancilla College would also like to welcome their new Men’s and Women’s Head Tennis Coach, Jessica Kutch.


Kutch comes to Ancilla with both player and coaching experience. As a tennis player, she was ranked in the United States Tennis Association under the Local, Northern Indiana, and Midwest divisions. Kutch attended The Culver Girls Academy and played #2 singles as well as working as a private instructor. She became Culver Summer Schools and Camps Tennis Director after eight years of instruction in the camp and private settings. Kutch continued to play tennis at the collegiate level. She attended Midway College in Midway, Kentucky where she played #1 singles all four years as well as #1 doubles for three years. She received All-Conference awards all four years as well as the Women’s Conference Player of the Year award her freshman and senior years. Upon concluding her tennis career, Kutch was given the highest athletic award from Midway College; voted upon by all the athletic staff in which this one student/athlete exemplifies both academic, leadership, and athletic prowess. Kutch returned to The Culver Academies some years later to become an assistant tennis coach for the Culver Girls Academy.


“I am extremely thrilled and honored to be starting this program at Ancilla College. It is my mission to take these young men and women and, with the perfect setting and the right leadership, create an opportunity for each of them to go above and beyond all academic, athletic, and personal expectations,” remarked Kutch.


“We are excited to have Jessica a part of our coaching staff here at Ancilla. As you can see from Jessica’s background, she has the knowledge and experience to be a perfect fit for this new program,” said Ancilla College Athletic Director Gene Reese.


The Ancilla College men’s & women’s Tennis team is proud to offer ample scholarships to players from around the area for the 2016-17 school year.
