Enrollment is now in progress for the next school year for Marshall Starke Head Start.
Head Start is a free preschool that promotes school readiness for children three to five years of age. The mission of the program is to enhance the development of children, to promote the family’s self-sufficiency and to prepare children for success in kindergarten.
The Marshall Starke Head Start program offers center-based preschool education and parent involvement activities to encourage parents to assume an active role in the child’s experience. They partner with parents to monitor the children’s health, nutritional, dental needs and developmental progress.
Head Start preschool classrooms are located in Plymouth, Culver, Knox, and North Judson. The Marshall Starke main offices are located at Kaleidoscope Children Center at 1901 Pidco Drive in Plymouth and St. Thomas School at 401 East Washington Street in Knox. Applications are available for pick up at the offices or you can call and they will mail you an application.
