The Lady Pilgrims Tennis Team won the IHSAA Regional match-up Wednesday night at CGA against the hosts 3-2. Number two singles, Lanae Singtleton, number three singles, Jessica Stillson, and number two doubles McKenzie Scheetz and Kendall Dreibelbis all won to secure the title for the Pilgrims! The win pushes the Pilgrims record to 16-3 on the year!
The next step is the semi-state, which will be held at Culver this Saturday starting at noon. The Pilgrims will play the winner of the Munster/Crown Point match, which was being played Thursday night.
The Athletic Department said, “We would also like to take this time to congratulate our Head Coach Brad Haeck and Assistant Coach Brittany Marquardt for all their time and dedication they both put into our girls tennis program!”
