On a warm and humid Monday night at Plymouth Country Club season lows were produced.  The Plymouth boys golf team remained perfect on the season defeating both LaPorte and SB Riley.  The Varsity improved to 7-0, the JV downed LaPorte to improve to 5-0.

Medalist honors went to Senior Ben Schenk with a season best 36.  Ben got off to a hot start making birdie on his first hole the par 5 – 10th.  After suffering a double bogey in the middle of the round on the par 3 – 14th, Ben finished strong with a birdie on the par 5 – 18th.  Ben’s ball striking – 6 greens and 5 fairways – lead to many scoring opportunities.  Fellow senior Reis Yoder was also striking it well – 5 greens and 5 fairways.  Reis’s only blemish on the card was a bogey on the par 4 – 15th.  Rounding out the scoring for the Varsity John Schenk 41, Hudson Yoder 41, and Micah Calhoun 42.  All teams shot their best round of the season Plymouth 155 – LaPorte 169 – Riley 191.
The JV won 177 to LaPorte’s 226.  Leading the way for the JV was Junior Colin Caine with a scrambling 42 with only 2 greens.  Like the Varsity the JV’s team total 177 was a season low.  Scoring for the JV were: Roger Karr 44, Dylan Johnson 45, Curtis Smith 46, Grant Clady 47, Trevor Danielson 47, Derek Mattix 54.
The Varsity travels to Rozella Ford on Tuesday afternoon to play in the Joe Harris Shootout.  Both teams play Wednesday at Swan Lake vs local rivals Culver Community and LaVille.
