Plymouth traveled to Tippy Valley on the beautiful Friday night and competed in the longest game of the season. The Vikings and Pilgrims were on the field for 2 and a half hours and a total of 35 runs were scored between the two teams. Plymouth was on the winning side scoring 24 runs on 22 hits. Jillian Smith went 4 for 5 on the day with 4 runs, 5 RBI’s and a walk. Kristin McNeal was also 4 for 5 with 3 RBI’s. Bailey Hatfield carried the pitching load for Plymouth and earned the long fought victory making it two in a row for Plymouth. Tomorrow they head to Michigan City on Saturday to complete the 5 game week.
