duffTOPEKA, IN – Westview High School senior, Kristen Duff, recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play women’s basketball at Ancilla College for the 2015-2016 school year.

Duff, a 5’8” forward for the Warriors, was a four year varsity athlete and a four time varsity letter recipient. The Warriors, under head coach Randy Yoder, went 25-4 overall and 11-0 in the Northeast Corner Conference. During her basketball career, Duff also received the defensive award and the hustle award for her basketball efforts.

“Kristen is as tough as nails,” remarked Ancilla College head coach Tom Robbins. “She is a tremendous rebounder and inside defender. She is also a very good interior passer, which is often an overlooked skill.”

Duff has not only seen success on the court, but in the classroom as well. She is a member of the Westview National Honor Society and has earned a place on the school’s high honor roll.

When Duff was asked what made Ancilla the right school for her, she replied “I love the small, personal atmosphere of the campus. The small class sizes are also a plus.”

Kristen is the daughter of Bob and Tracie Duff. While at Ancilla, she plans to major in Health Science/Exercise Science.
