TAYLOR, MI – Ancilla’s Chargers had a rough first road trip of the MCCAA campaign dropping a pair of decisions at Henry Ford Community College by 12-3 and 6-1 scores.

Ancilla jumped to a quick 1-0 lead in game one but that was the last time they would lead during the day as they could manage just three hits in game one and one more in game two. Alex Nelson (Ben Davis High School) had three of the Chargers four hits on the day including a pair of doubles in game one. Jacob Fell (Seeger High School) had the other Ancilla hit a game one single.

Luke Gaboury (Mishawaka Marian High School) took the game one loss. Dalton Clark (Rockville High School) took a two hitter of his own into the sixth of game two but tired before being relieved by Damon Prater for the final two outs.

The Chargers (3-11) are at home again on Tuesday to play Kellogg Community College.
