GarbisonBOURBON, IN – Triton High School senior Brycelyn Garbison recently signed her National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play softball at Ancilla College.

Garbison, a four-year letter winner for the 2014 Regional Champion and 2013 Sectional Champion Trojans is both a pitcher and first baseman. She was named the Mental Attitude Award winner in both 2013 and 2014. Garbison was also a participant in the 2014 North/South Elite All-Star Game. She is a member of FFCLA, Art Club, Science Club, the Anti-Bullying Committee, and is Treasurer of the Spanish Club.

“Ancilla was close to home, a small school, and somewhere where I could continue to play softball,” said Garbison when asked about her choice to join the Chargers.

“Brycelyn is a great addition to our team,” began Ancilla coach Scott Reese. “I have been following her entire career at Triton and was thrilled that she decided to join our pitching staff. She will add some depth to our staff next year and has a great opportunity to contribute as a freshman. I am excited that Brycelyn has decided to join the Ancilla softball family.”

Brycelyn is the daughter of Ron and Stacy Garbison and plans on working towards her degree in General Studies while at Ancilla.
