PLYMOUTH, IN – Ancilla dominated play against visiting Ivy Tech of Indianapolis, outscoring them by double digits in both halves and coming away with a 91-61 victory.

The Chargers (7-4) shot over 50% from the field in both halves, finishing the night shooting 34-65 (52.3%) from the field, including 11-25 (44.0%) from behind the arc.

Juwan Johnson added to his team high 18.4 points per game by dropping in 20 points, including a 4-6 performance from three point range. Johnson also led the team in rebounds with six and added four assists to the mix. Mike Wickliff and Eric Waddell also upped their season averages by netting 16 and 15 points respectively. Wickliff pulled down six rebounds and dished out five assists, while Waddell led the team with six assists.

“We shot the ball well tonight,” started Ancilla coach Aaron Butcher. “We made improvements on the defensive end from our last game, but still have work to do on that end of the court. We have two games left in the non-conference and need to find consistency going into conference play.”

Ancilla’s next game is Monday, December 15 at Truman College of Chicago, where they will tipoff at 8:00 p.m. The Chargers return home on Wednesday, December 17 for their final game of 2014, when they will matchup against Midwest Elite Prep at 6:00 p.m.
