Handcuffs-newSaturday afternoon just before 3 Plymouth Police Officer Ray West responded to a 9-1-1 dispatch from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department in an attempt to locate a white, Chevy Malibu that was north bound on Michigan Street from Oakhill Avenue.

Officer West located the vehicle at Michigan Street and Becknell Drive at the front of Centennial Park. The driver, 36 year old Gail Obrien of South Bend was found to be driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

Obrien was arrested without incident and booked into the County Jail.
During the inventory of the vehicle marijuana was located and Obrien was charged with the additional charge of possession of marijuana.

Obrien was held on a $1,505 cash bond.
