Dine Out for United WayYou can dine out and help a good cause in Marshall County. Over the next several weeks, thirteen area restaurants are donating a percentage of their sales toward the 2014 United Way of Marshall County campaign.

Volunteers across the county are raising funds this fall to support 24 United Way agencies and programs; the goal this year is $550,000. The campaign theme is “The Power of We” and participating restaurants are taking it to heart.

During the next six weeks, October 6th through November 14th, the following restaurants are participating and have pledged a percentage of their sales on specific dates to the United Way of Marshall County campaign.

This week through Sunday, October 12th Bourbon Street Pizza in Plymouth and Bourbon have started the fundraising this year. On Monday, Oct. 13th the Plymouth Dairy Queen will conduct their drive and on Wednesday, Oct. 15 it’s King’s Buffet and on Thursday, Oct. 16th the Plymouth Pizza Hut. Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders will help support United Way of Marshall County on Tuesday, Oct. 21st and Bob Evans will have four days with a coupon from Friday, Oct 24th through Monday. Oct. 27th.

The Brass Rail in downtown Plymouth has donated a complete week to United Way, Monday, Oct 27th through November 1st. The Community Hospital of Bremen’s Café will help the cause Oct. 27th through the 31st.

In November Dine Out for United Way participants include Hacienda on Monday, Nov. 3rd with a coupon and the Culver Coffee Company and The Lakehouse Grille in Culver are helping out November 3rd through the 9th. The Ponderosa Steakhouse wraps up Dine Out for United Way by donating their percentage Nov. 7th through the 14th.

For the few restaurants that require a coupon, Hacienda, Bob Evans, and The Lakehouse, you can pick them up at the United Way office at 2701 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.
