U.S. Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) recently was named a “Fiscal Hero” by the Campaign to Fix the Debt for his work to improve the nation’s fiscal situation. Recipients were recognized for their voting records, bipartisan fiscal legislative initiatives and public support of solutions to reduce our national debt.

“I returned to Congress in order to address our federal government’s addiction to spending,” said Coats. “There is much work to be done, and it will take Republicans and Democrats working together to make the hard choices necessary to address our fiscal crisis. I remain committed to this goal.”
