The 6th grade Lady Rockets kicked off their season with two impressive wins last week. The Wawasee Warriors visited RIS, and were met by a prepared and determined Lady Rockets team. The A Team won 36-9, and their defensive shined throughout the game. The A team also played great unselfish offensive. Every member of the team scored at least 2 points, and Claire Tanner lead all scores with 10. The B team also had an impressive victory against the Warriors. The girls earned a 20-6 victory, and were lead by Sydni Weir, Lauren Powell and Avery Christy in scoring. The whole team played great defense, and dominated the glass during the game.
