PHS Gymnastics Win over Warsaw

02/17/14 The Plymouth High Gymnastics Team hosted Warsaw Wednesday in a regular season dual meet.  Plymouth beat Warsaw 95.275 to 76.25.  Plymouth’s team has been hard at work to unveil quite a few new routines and some pretty new and high level skills as well.  Nearly every JV team member competed on floor and beam that night.  Varsity team member Nicole Davis stuck her double back dismount on bars and Varsity Cassi Quissell performed a back handspring back layout step out on beam for the first time in competition.  Co-coaches Jana Lyon and Sandy Sampson said the girls are gaining momentum as they head in to Sectionals and Regionals.  Lyons said, “The excitement is building, but what makes us most proud is how this team has become quite the family, full of support and camaraderie.”
