06/18/13  The Parrett Veterinary Clinic located at 750 Columbus Drive in Plymouth participates in the Spay-Neuter Service Program (SNAP) of Indiana.

Spay-Neuter of Indiana (SNSI) sponsors a low-cost spay and neuter program to benefit the local community.  The Spay-Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) allows people who are on certain government assistance programs like Food Stamps, Medicaid, SSD, WIC and the Public School Free Lunch Program to get their pets fixed for a fee of only $20.  An expansion of the program has also been made to allow individuals who make less than $22,340 annually to participate.

This program is available state-wide and the surgeries will take place locally at Parrett Veterinary Clinic.  To receive the assistance you must complete a SNAP application by visiting their website at www.GetThemFixed.org and downloading the application or call the voice mail line at 317-767-7771.

This program is provided by a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate the killing of healthy and treated cats and dogs by providing spay and neuter surgical fee assistance through partnerships with private practice.

Since the starting of this program in 1977, Spay-Neuter Service of Indiana has facilitated 68,000 spay and neuter surgeries for Hoosiers dogs and cats.
