06/07/13 After rains soaked the fastest dirt track in Northern Indiana last week, the staff and drivers are ready to get back to racing at Plymouth Speedway.

Larry Kemp, who works on Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway’s dirt surface in Ohio, was back at the track where over 50 tons of new clay was installed in turns three and four.

It’s been a busy time at the Plymouth Speedway in order to get maximum racing out of the new dirt surface.  Track owner Ed Kennedy is doing everything in his power to get the track primed for race night.  Mike Zielinski and the crew at Plymouth Speedway work long hours to ensure this happens.

A regular show is on tap for Saturday, June 8, sponsored by Comfort Suites.  USAC Winged Sprints will be featured this week as well as the USAC Restricted Winged Sprints.  More great action with Modifieds, Street Stocks and Thunder Stocks is also scheduled.  Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. ET.

Saturday, June 8 is also the deadline to purchase discounted pre-sale tickets for the Mod Squad night at the Plymouth Speedway featuring NASCAR drivers Ken Schrader, David Stremme, Justin Allgaier, David Reutimann and Kenny Wallace.  Pre-sale adult tickets are $15.  After June 8, the ticket price will be $18 for adults.  To purchase your tickets and for pit pass information, visit www.plymouthspeedway.net.

Wings Etc. is the proud sponsor of Mod Squad night.
