04/29/13 On April 18th and 19th, the Triton Elementary School 5th graders took their annual trip to Camp Amigo in Sturgis, Michigan.

Students learned about ecosystems through classes on marsh investigation and collecting macro-invertebrates. Students worked on their communication skills during two different cooperative learning courses. They participated in outdoor activities such as fishing, archery, and animal tracking. They braved extreme weather from 70 degrees and raining on Thursday to 30 degrees and snowing on Friday. Through it all, they kept a great attitude and demonstrated Trojan Pride.  Fifth Grade teachers, Ms. Brosman, Ms. Hanby, and Ms. Howstrawser organized and sponsored this trip for the students.
