03/15/13 The Plymouth Optimist Club sponsored four finalists in the Tri-Star Basketball contest, held at the New Castle Fieldhouse on March 10th. The Optimists were very proud to have these young people representing our area in this annual program.
In the picture are Trey Hall, Halle Hopple, Miranda German, and Hayden Hopple. All received ribbons. Halle and Miranda received 1st place trophies in their age groups, with Trey receiving and 2nd place trophy.
Youth from the entire Northern Indiana District competed together. They also were treated to a tour of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in New Castle.
We always want to thank the parents, and families who are able to encourage and transport their children to such programs. Your success is our success.
If you have a child who is or will be 8-13 by March 15th 2014 we encourage you to take part in this activity for next year’s contest.
