08/27/13 On Saturday, August 24th at approximately 8:15 a.m. Marshall County Deputy Les McFarland conducted a traffic stop at 3rd Road and West Shore Drive at Lake of the Woods. During the investigation of the traffic stop, Deputy McFarland located what was believed to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle that 28 year old Conor O’Brien’s of Lowell was driving. Mr. O’Brien was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams and was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $1,505 bond. He was released later that afternoon after posting bond. O’Brien will appear in Marshall Superior Cour II on October 8th.
