ParkDepartmentEarlier this month the Plymouth Park Board approved contracts with the Plymouth Farmer’s Market, Yellow River Festival and Encore Performing Arts.

The 2015 agreements are exactly like last years.  The Plymouth Farmer’s Market will pay 10% of the booth rental income to the City of Plymouth while the Yellow River Festival, the first weekend in June will also pay 10% of their vender fees to the city of Plymouth.  Encore Performing Arts will pay 10% of the gross ticket receipts, if admission is charged to the city.

The annual league contracts with adult softball, American Legion Baseball, Youth Softball, Junior League Baseball, Tennis Club and Swim club were also approved.  The agreement with the Plymouth Park Department requires the various leagues to pay $10 for each individual who lives outside of the city limits.

In other business the Plymouth Park Board approved the request of Operation Quiet Comfort and Special Olympics of Marshall-Starke Counties for season family pool passes for their fundraiser efforts.  They also gave the Plymouth Public Library free use of the Hoosier Old Wheels Shelter for Bubble Day on June and approval to Ounce of Prevention for use of the Greenway Trail for the TaTa Trot on June 27th.
