Nice and Easy Dance Duo performed recently at Miller’s Assisted Living. The dance duo is made up of Jerry Flint and Wendy Mischke. If the Flint name sounds familiar, it should because Jerry is well-known for running his own establishment; Flint Dance Studio for many years in Mishawaka. Wendy is also a well-known dance instructor and at one time taught in Plymouth.
Together as Nice and Easy the pair travels to nursing facilities and assisted living facilities to give ballroom dance demonstrations. Throughout their demonstration they also share trivia about the nostalgic songs they choose as well as get the audience involved in doing some seated foot work of their own.
At Miller’s the duo began their program with a tango and moved on to a classic foxtrot and ended with some country western jazz. The audience was all smiles and enjoyed the demonstration immensely. Nice and Easy Dance Duo will be back at Miller’s Assisted Living on Monday, July 6th at 2:00 p.m. This program is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
