02/01/11 Congressman Joe Donnelly announced that he will host an information session on the evening of February 1st regarding federal financial aid for college.   Students of all ages interested in applying for federal aid for higher education are encouraged to attend to receive information on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), requirements and admissions process, and what skill sets employers are looking for in future employees.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Education, Indiana University South Bend, and WorkOne will give remarks and take questions from audience members on navigating the federal student aid process.  This event is free and open to the public.  Highlights of the event will be available on Congressman Donnelly’s YouTube page following the event so interested students and their families from across Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District will be able to access the information at their convenience. 

Information session on federal student aid for college featuring experts from the U.S. Department of Education, Indiana University South Bend, and WorkOne.  The financial aid meeting will be held in  Alumni Hall at Indiana University South Bend Administration Building,  1700 Mishawaka Avenue in South Bend.  The meeting is scheduled for  Tuesday, February 1st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. EST
