Earlier this month, the ProPEL U.S. 30 West Study Team released the Draft Level 2 Alternatives Report. The Level 2 Report is the second step in a three-level alternatives development and screening process.

During Level 1 they considered all improvement alternatives that could meet local needs. These alternatives have since been further evaluated based on planning data and public input for their potential to improve operations and safety at 29 intersections along the U.S. 30 and 31 corridors. The study team used data and public feedback to identify potential alternatives that could meet the issues and desired outcomes for U.S. 30 and 31. The West Study Team needs help from the local community to identify the best intersection improvement alternatives to take forward.  Today (4-30-24) is the last day of the public comment period. Please share your thoughts on this phase of alternatives development by the deadline!
