03/13/14 Monday evening the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety awarded the quote for a half-ton pick-up for the Waste Water Department to low quote of County Auto. Their quote was $25,169…$320 dollars lower than Oliver Ford.
They also awarded the quote for a three-quarter ton truck with service mount unit and snow plow to County Auto who had the low quote. The low quote was $45,932….$7,670 lower than the quote from Oliver Ford.
The Plymouth Board of Works also approved the request of Fire Chief Rod Miller to take up to 8 firefighters to training in Fort Wayne. The few for the training is available in the fire department’s training budget. He also noted that new-hire, Mike Jernstrom is ready to start work, they are just waiting on state PERF approval.
