PLYMOUTH – Students at Plymouth High School did their part to help others at the 3rd Annual Riley Dance Marathon.
Students started dancing at noon on Saturday in an effort to raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital and finished up with a rousing routine at halftime of the Plymouth-New Prairie basketball game. Participants also took the opportunity to raise funds from those in attendance at the game.
Students gained the support of local businesses and sponsors to work towards a goal of $20,000 for the hospital. They were aided by members of the Ball State University Dance Marathon Board. The group was able to raise exceed their goal and raise over $25,000 for the cause.
