11/04/13 A two vehicle crash Friday night at the intersection of US 31 and 13th Road claimed the life of a Plymouth woman.
According to County Coroner Bill Cleavenger, 76 year old Kathryn B. Mansfield of Plymouth, a passenger in an automobile that was west bound on 13th Road was killed instantly when that vehicle collided with a south bound car on US 31.
The accident occurred about 9:30 and emergency responders from Plymouth and Argos, Marshall County Police and officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources assisted Coroner Cleavenger at the scene. Emergency responders were on the scene for a few hours as they worked to free victims from the vehicles.
The drivers of both vehicles and passengers were taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend and at this time police have not released their names and their conditions are unknown.
This accident remains under investigation by the Coroner’s Office and County Police.
