11/14/12  On Saturday, November 10th at 6:01 AM Officer Chris Miller with the Plymouth Police Department responded to 900 West Harrison Street in reference to a battery complaint.  Arriving at the scene, he made contact with 43 year old Recardo Soto of Plymouth who was taken into custody.  He was charged with domestic battery and failure to identify and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $2,255 bond.

Later Saturday afternoon at 2:42 PM Officer Gary Cleveland responded to the Plymouth Wal-Mart in reference to two subjects being detained for theft.  Officer Cleveland was advised that the two subjects were caught eating food from the deli while they shopped and then proceeded to leave the store without paying for the items. 18 year old Cody Phelps of Plymouth was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for theft with a $1,505 bond. A juvenile that was also detained was released to their parents and ordered to report to Juvenile Probation.

Saturday night at 11:40 PM Officer Paul Stamper conducted a traffic stop in the Red D Mart parking lot on a vehicle that had a traffic violation.   During the investigation it was found that the passenger in the vehicle, 18 year old Joshua M. Mehling of Plymouth was in possession of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.  Mehling was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $3,005 bond.

At the same time on the other side of town Officer Jordan Rans conducted a routine traffic stop at Jefferson Street east of Third Street.  During his investigation it was determined that 63 year old Michael J. Villagomez of East Chicago was operating a vehicle while intoxicated.  He was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $1,505 bond.
