This Friday, December 30th will be the last day for the Marshall County Health Department’s free Covid-19 test site located behind the LifePlex at 2855 Miller Drive in Plymouth.

There are several options if you need a Covid-19 test:

• Contact your medical provider.

• Order free at-home kits online at https://www.covid.gov/tests.

• Some area pharmacies are offering Covid-19 testing, fees may apply and

• Purchase home Covid-19 test kits at local pharmacies.

Marshall County Public Health Nurse, Sandy Dunfee urges citizens to remember to practice everyday precautions to stop the spread of germs: cover coughs and sneezes, wash hands often for 20 seconds with soap and water, eat a healthy diet, get some fresh air, stay home when you are sick, avoid people who are sick and stay up to date on recommended vaccines.

The closure of the Marshall County COVID-19 Test Site marks two and a half years that the County Health Department has provided free Covid-19 testing for the community.

In her news release, Dunfee said, “It has been a pleasure to serve the residents of Marshall County and the surrounding counties.”
