The Indiana Department of Health announced Thursday that 878 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the state’s total to 763,688 Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus.
To date, 13,535 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of one from the previous day.
In Marshall County there were 3 new positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Thursday’s report. That brings the county’s total to 6,320 with no new deaths reported. There were 16n individuals tested and the 7-day positivity rate for all tests was 0.7% while the 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals was 8.5%.

Hoosiers age 12 and older can receive a COVID-19 vaccine. To find a vaccination clinic near you, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211 if you do not have access to a computer or require assistance. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are accepted at most sites.
As of Thursday, a total of 2,913,717 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.
