Residents of Miller’s Assisted Living were treated to the first Quadrennial Leap Year Party on Saturday, February 29th. The Upstairs Lobby was transformed into a “swamp-y” river area complete with handmade water lilies, lily pads and LEAP Frogs. Purified Swamp water was served as the beverage and there were also green Rice Krispy Treats, green iced sugar cookies and green finger Jello. Leap Year Trivia was played with residents giving correct answers receiving candy from our special guest RIBBET the Frog. Door prizes went to Carol Carlberg and Norma Montgomery. Walter Coplen won the ”Frog Eye ” candy guessing contest. Each resident attending received a “Hopping Good Time” Leap Year Certificate. A big Thank You to our volunteers Sharon Duff, Diane Schaal, Hal Scott, Becky Hooley, and who helped make this Leap Year Party possible!!
