05/27/11  Plymouth Farmers’ Market will celebrate Memorial Day with Mayor Mark Senter passing out American flags (made in Indiana!). Other happenings include a blood drive and the opportunity to get up close and personal with alpacas. Vendor participation has seen over 30 booths the last three weeks with record crowds.

The Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the G & G parking lot at Garro and River, east of Michigan. The area is now officially a city park under the management of the Plymouth Parks Department. The new name for the park will be announced at the Yellow River Festival. The last day for the Market is Oct. 8, the second Saturday of the month.

Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager, 10499 Tyler Road, Bremen, IN 46506 (574-217-5776).
