1st Source Bank GrantThe Lincoln Junior High Digital Storm media program at Lincoln Junior High, taught by Paula Neidlinger, has been awarded the 1st Source Bank Foundation grant, which will be used to purchase radio and television broadcasting equipment.

This initiative to improve the quality of the broadcasting education and technological literacy for the students in the Digital Storm Mass Media program is important for our community.   Through the eyes of the LJH Digital Storm Mass Media program, the community has an increased awareness of school events and issues and a first-hand view of students’ efforts as they learn to become self-directed learners through broadcasting and journalism.

The LJH Digital Storm Mass Media program prepares self-directed learners to thrive in a changing global community by developing 21st century media literacy skills and provides higher visibility within the Plymouth community through real-world, global experiences.
