Stolen Vehicle RecoveredOn Saturday, December 23rd Bourbon Police Officer Carl Amsden was notified by dispatch that a local citizen had recognized a vehicle that had been reported stolen on a media news site.

The officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at 211 West Center Street in Bourbon.  The vehicle was being driven by Benjamin R. Stogsdill of Tippecanoe.

Stogsdill was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Operator Never Licensed, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

 

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
