The Plymouth Fire Department responded to 709 Oakhill Avenue Wednesday night at 6:56 when the homeowner called 911 and reported the smelled smoke in the home.
The Plymouth Fire Department and Plymouth Police Department responded to the home and investigated the situation.
After investigating the interior of the home firefighter Cody Bennett said they found nothing. He said they searched the home and specifically the bedroom where the homeowner thought the smoke was coming. Using the thermal-imaging camera firefighters checked the walls, ceiling and electrical sockets and found nothing.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
