homicide-investigation_genericDuring a press conference Sunday afternoon, Marshall County Police say the vehicle involved in a suspected homicide in Plymouth was located in New York.

Although the Marshall County Coroner has not released the name of the victim, pending an autopsy on Monday, the vehicle was registered to Paul Costello and the homes involved in the investigation are also owned by Costello.

About 1 Saturday afternoon County Police were called to the 15,000 block of Lincoln Highway west of Plymouth after a family member went to look for Costello because they hadn’t heard from him in several days.  Someone was found dead on the property but at this time police will not confirm who it is.

The stolen vehicle was located in Watertwon, NY about 700 miles away.  New York police located the vehicle and got to into a vehicle pursuit with the two male subjects.

The two men, Maeson Coffin and Gauvin Monaghan were taken into custody.  They were tenants in Costello’s adjacent residence on Lincoln Highway.  The two were arrested for Auto Theft at this time.

Police would not confirm if the two suspects are connected to the homicide.
