MugShot_Campbell, KaylineThursday morning June 2nd Detective Leo Mangus with the Plymouth Police Department received information from an officer of inappropriate sexual activity involving a staff member of the Prairie View Group Home at 703 West Jefferson Street and a 17 year old resident.

Talking with Ted Hayden, manager of the group home and the juvenile the detective learned that resident had a sexual relationship with staff member, 22 year old Kayline Campbell on May 14th in the upstairs area of the group home. He also said that Campbell gave him her address and he snuck out of the group home on May 17th, walked to her home and had a sexual encounter with her in the bedroom.

During the investigation on June 2nd Mr. Hayden confirmed that Kayline Campbell had been employed to supervise residents and that she had been terminated because of suspicions regarding inappropriate activity.

During a meeting with Kayline Campbell she initially denied any sexual contact with the resident. After additional questioning she admitted to Detective Mangus that she had a sexual relationship with the resident on May 14th and May 17th.

Campbell was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on two counts of Sexual Misconduct as level 4 Felonies on a $5,000 cash bond.
