The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is alerting drivers of daytime lane restrictions on State Road 331, between State Road 106 and U.S. 6. Work crews will be making improvements now through the middle of June. Crews will restrict traffic to one (12’) lane in each direction, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to patch and resurface areas of the road. This is initial work that is needed prior to a complete resurfacing of SR 331 between U.S. 20/31 Bypass and U.S. 6 that will occur later in the summer.
Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment
