Larry D. Davis, age 85 of Plymouth, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Plymouth, IN
Larry was born on May 19, 1938, to Carl Dean and S. Olga (Sinn) Davis in North Liberty, IN. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He retired from Bendix Corporation (Honeywell) as a machine operator and was a member of UAW of South Bend, IN. He and his wife Lois were faithful members of Walnut Church of the Brethren at Argos, IN. He loved farming, gardening, fishing but most of all his family and grandkids. Larry honorably served his country in the United States Army during Korean war time.
Larry married Lois (Cudney) on November 11, 1960. She survives along with their daughter Deneise Davis of Plymouth, IN; his sons: Scott (Leaan) Davis of Plymouth, IN and Todd Davis of Mishawaka, IN; his seven grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, son Danny Davis and a brother Darwin Davis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563). The funeral will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Rice officiating. Burial will follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, IN 46563 with Military honors.
