The Marshall County Council on Aging have several bus trips in the third quarter that residents are invited to participate in.

On Wednesday, July 19th it’s a trip to the South Bend Cubs Game.  The bus will leave from the Center at 1305 West Harrison Street in Plymouth at 10:30 for a noon ballgame against West Michigan.  The cost is $20 and covers your transportation and a snack.  The tickets and suite were generously donated by Hoosier Racing Tire.  There are a limited number of seats to stop in the Life Enrichment Center today and pay for the trip.

On August 10th the Life Enrichment Center is offering a bus to the Indiana State Fair on Thursday, August 10th.  The bus will leave the Center at 8 a.m.  The price for the ride is $25 and you will be responsible for your $14 admission to the fair.  The bus will leave the fair at 2:30 to head back to Plymouth.   

In September they are taking a bus trip to the South Bend Chocolate Factory Tour and Trip.  The bus leaves the Life Enrichment Center at 9:15. The cost of transportation is $20, and you will be responsible for the museum admission of $5.  Participants will tour the chocolate factory and learn the history of chocolate and its origins and see the processes for making all the chocolate candy treats. After the factory and museum, the bus will stop at Chick-fil-A for lunch on the way back to Plymouth.

The Life Enrichment Center is also taking a trip to Nashville from September 18th through the 22nd.  This is a show trip, and you’ll attend a show at the Grand Ole Opry and enjoy a Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theatre.  There will be a guided tour of Nashville, a chance to meet your favorite stars at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, and a tour of the Belle Meade Historic Site and Winery.  The cost is $850 per person based on double occupancy.  Reserve your stop today because there are only a few spots open.
