Richard W. Weigle, 74 years old, of Fairfield Farms, Plymouth, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Son of Roy and Wreatha Weigle, he served in the United States Army at Ft. Hood, then returned to Plymouth to live. He then moved to Chicago and was employed by United Airlines for 29 years. Richard was married to Arlene Powell, a former Plymouth school teacher and American Airlines flight attendant at O’Hare. He was a former member of Swan Lake Golf Club, and he will be greatly missed. Richard then worked for Del Monte Foods for a short time. Together, Richard and Arlene have a son, Matthew Weigle, an airline pilot. Richard served as a member of Crossroads Church, where he was a member of their First Impressions Team. He fought a strong battle with cancer throughout his body and was helped by Gentiva Hospice of Rochester.

Richard will be greatly missed by family and dear friends but will be home in heaven with our Lord.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Crossroads Church (1650 N. Oak Dr., Plymouth, IN 46563) on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Collin Seitz officiating.

Burial will be a private family event.
