Four hits from Parker Wolfe paved the way to victory for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims over Knox 15-8 on Monday.  Wolfe singled in the first, singled in the first, singled in the third, and doubled in the fourth.

An early lead helped propel Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims to victory.  Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims scored on a walk by Tre Jordan, a walk by Owen Walleske, a walk by Zach Atkins, a single by Grady Metsker, a single by Malachi Sieh, and a single by Wolfe in the first inning.

After Knox scored one run in the top of the third, Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims answered with one of their own.  Knox scored when Nick Manzuk induced #29 to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.  Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims then answered when Manzuk tripled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Manzuk pitched Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims to victory. Manzuk surrendered one run on two hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one.  Sieh threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

#27 took the loss for Knox. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing 13 hits and 15 runs while striking out three.

Jordan started the game for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The righty allowed six hits and seven runs over one inning, striking out one and walking zero

Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims collected 13 hits on the day.  Wolfe, Metsker, Sieh, Aiden Sauer, and Manzuk all had multiple hits for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims.  Wolfe went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims in hits.  Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Sieh led the way with three.

Knox racked up eight hits in the game.  #8 and #10 each racked up multiple hits for Knox.
