Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 18-2 loss to Northridge Raiders JV on Wednesday.  Northridge Raiders JV took the lead on a single in the first inning.

The Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Northridge Raiders JV, giving up 18 runs.

Northridge Raiders JV got things moving in the first inning.  Luke Mann singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Northridge Raiders JV scored seven runs in the third inning.  Brody Wood, Mann,  Wyatt Lyles, Kyle Walther, Mason Dewulf, and Brecken Gawthrop each drove in runs during the inning.

Aidan Miller was on the mound for Northridge Raiders JV. The fireballer surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Nick Manzuk was on the pitcher’s mound for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The righthander lasted two innings, allowing six hits and 11 runs.  Braxton White and Aiden Sauer entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively.

Parker Wolfe, Owen Walleske, and Tre Jordan all had one hit to lead Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims.

Northridge Raiders JV totaled 12 hits in the game.  Dewulf, Mann, and Braxton Nagy each collected multiple hits for Northridge Raiders JV.  Northridge Raiders JV stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Gawthrop led the way with three.
