Kathryn E. Rowe, 79, of Plymouth, Indiana passed away at 7:40 am on Thursday, May 11, 2023 in her residence.

       On October 10, 1943, she was born in Chicago, Illinois to William and Mildred Ruth (Wingren) Gager.  Kathryn was united in marriage to Donald A. Rowe on August 20, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, whom he met following a waitressing accident.  Don preceded her in death on October 13, 2010.

   Kathryn worked for ESI manufacturing electrical harnesses for RVs until her retirement in 2005.  She also bartended for the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Culver while her husband instructed line dancing classes.  She also was a DJ at the Plymouth VFW for a time.  Kathryn also used HAM radios and CB with her husband.  She was a member of Plymouth Baptist Church.

    Kathryn enjoyed traveling, visiting Australia, Canada, Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Williamsburg, Kentucky, where she saw the full-sized replica of Noah’s Ark.  She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, and watching game shows, especially “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price Is Right”.   Most of all, she loved her dogs, Harrison(current), Tinker, Troubles, Scruffy, Dinky, Missy, Joe and Rusty.  She eventually grew into a cat lover, caring for her cats, Nellie and Sweet Pea  (current), and Itty Bitt and Fuzzybutt.

     Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Rowe, Plymouth; granddaughter, Ahriaz C. Rowe and her fiancé, Brad Crandall of Tomah, Wisconsin; three great grandchildren, Kyloe Arthur Rowe, Alliegh Elizabeth Rowe, and Paityn Ann Rowe, also of Tomah, Wisconsin and three stepbrothers in Austria.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

    She is also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charlie, Bud, Bill and her sister, Alice.

      Visitation hours will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.  Funeral services will follow visitation at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.  Pastor Doug Dieterly and Pastor Clark Harless will be officiating.
