Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-3 loss to Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen on Friday.  Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen scored on a walk by John Borowiec in the first inning, a error in the second inning, a single by Rennye Davila in the second inning, a double by Borowiec in the second inning, a single by Joey Hauger in the second inning, and a double by Alex Jimenz in the second inning.

The Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen, giving up 11 runs.

Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen got things started in the first inning when Borowiec drew a walk, scoring one run.

Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen scored eight runs in the second inning.  Jimenz, Davila,  Borowiec, Hauger, and Jimenz each had RBIs in the big inning.

Borowiec got the win for Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen. The fireballer lasted four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out seven.  Braylon Yoder threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Cooper Grolich took the loss for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing one hit and six runs while striking out three.

Austin Price led Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims with two hits in four at bats.  Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Tre Jordan led the way with two.

Concord Junior Varsity Minutemen didn’t commit a single error in the field. Ian Watson had the most chances in the field with 11.
