Plymouth Pilgrims Freshman lost the lead late in a 13-8 defeat to South central on Friday.  The game was tied at eight with South central batting in the top of the fourth when Howard drew a walk, scoring one run.

Plymouth Pilgrims Freshman collected three hits and South central had 14 in the high-scoring affair.

South central got things moving in the first inning.  Haschel drove in one when Haschel tripled.

Welsh led the South central to victory on the hill. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out six.

Nick Manzuk took the loss for Plymouth Pilgrims Freshman. Manzuk allowed 13 hits and 13 runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

Smoker started the game for South central. The ace allowed zero hits and four runs

Owen Walleske, Grady Metsker, and Parker Wolfe each collected one hit to lead Plymouth Pilgrims Freshman.  Plymouth Pilgrims Freshman stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Wolfe led the way with two.

South central tallied 14 hits in the game.  Dvillianson, Haschel, Elkins, and Spear each racked up multiple hits for South central.  Dvillianson led South central with three hits in three at bats.  South central was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Lord made the most plays with  seven.  Howard led South central with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
