Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 9-0 loss to South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV on Wednesday.  South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV scored on a single by Jacob Snyder, a double by Franco Biffle Jr, and a single by Braxton Myers in the first inning.

The Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims struggled to contain the high-powered offense of South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV, giving up nine runs.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV opened up scoring in the first inning, when Snyder singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

A single by Cooper Grolich in the fourth inning was a positive for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims.

Jay Nuber led the South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV to victory on the hill. The ace surrendered zero runs on one hit over six innings, striking out ten.  Julian Smith threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Aiden Landis took the loss for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. The righty went two innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out three.

Grolich went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims in hits.

South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV racked up nine hits in the game.  Myers and Biffle Jr each collected multiple hits for South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV.  Myers led South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV with three hits in four at bats.  South Bend St. Joseph Indians JV didn’t commit a single error in the field. Josiah Gustine had the most chances in the field with 12.
