PLYMOUTH — The Lincoln and Riverside Intermediate cross country team was battling both the rain and Bremen and Lakeview last night at Centennial Park.
The Lincoln girls team won and the boys got third in the meet.
Two LJH athletes had the best race of the season getting personal records, this was Lydia Wray and Tucker Truex.
Vivy Miller had a first-place finish and Chase Palmer a second-place finish. Other scoring LJH athletes were Rusty Antrim, Mayson Saloma, and Lydia Wray.
For Bremen’s boys team all their runners had season best times near or surpassing personal best times to all finish in the top 15 within 50 seconds of each other.
Jailen Marmolejos led the boys’ team finishing 5th followed by Joseph Davis 6th with a PR, Jacob Stump 9th with a PR, Sean Clark 10th with a PR, Jordan Krallman 13th only 2 seconds from his PR, and Sawyer Miller 15th crushing his season best with a new PR.
The Bremen girls had 4 finish in the top 15. Kate Kincaid led the girls’ team finishing 2nd with a new PR followed by Skylee Feathers 7th, Gracelynn Moyer 8th with a PR, and Allison Klingerman 15th with her season best.
Chi Ann Zellmer dropped 1:43 of her personal best time and Valeria Gonzalez also ran her season best time.
Thursday Lincoln will host Tippy Valley and South Bend Career Academy.
Bremen will compete next at home Thursday against LaVille and Benton Homeschool.
