BREMEN — The Bremen Lions started conference play with a win against South Bend Washington 42-6.
The Lions defense forced 3 turnovers on the night with Interceptions by Brendon Richardson and Reece Greene. Mikal Rogers recovered a fumble for the Lions.
The Lions offense was paced by Lance Moser with 196 yards rushing with 2 touchdowns. Tyrus Graverson was on the receiving end a Touchdown pass from Moser. Silas Laidig completed 2 passes for 102 yards and 1 score. AJ Ton was on the receiving end of the Laidig touchdown pass. Austin McKenzie added 2 short rushing touchdowns for the Lions.
The Lions head to Mishawaka Marian next week for an out of conference game.
