Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to the area of River Park Square on Monday, July 4th at about 7:45 in the evening regarding a complaint of an unknown suspect that was causing a disturbance, chasing a child, and yelling.

Based upon the description of the suspect that was provided, officers made contact with 48-year-old Larry Baltes of Jute Road in Bremen upon their arrival.

After an investigation, Baltes was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on charges of Criminal Trespass, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Public Intoxication.  He was held on a $500 cash bond.

As a side note, Mr. Baltes was arrested on Thursday, June 30th at the Economy Inn with a charge of Public Intoxication.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
