27-year-old Devante Halcomb of lot 118 at 2550 North Michigan Street in Plymouth is a registered sex offender having been convicted of Child molesting and Sexual Misconduct with a minor. He is classified as a sexually violent predator and required to register every 90 days or any change of information within 72 hours. He is also required to keep in his possession an identification card with his current address which must be updated within 30 days of moving to a new address.
During an investigation, it was found that Halcomb failed to possess a current identification as well as failed to register employment and contact information as required. On Wednesday, March 30th, Devante Halcomb was located at the Red Rock Inn where he resides and taken into custody for the offenses both being level 6 felony. His supervising parole agent was notified of the offense.
Holcomb was lodged in the County Jail and posted bond the same day of $1500 cash.
On Thursday, March 31st Halcomb was again taken into custody for a parole violation warrant. He is currently lodged in the Marshall County Jail with no bond.
